Affiliate Disclosure
CommissionFlow is reader-supported through affiliate commissions. This page explains how those commissions work, where you can see them on every comparison hub, and what we do to keep our rankings independent of payment. This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 (Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising).
How we're compensated
When you click a product card on a {comparisonHubLink} and complete a qualifying signup or purchase on the partner's site, we earn a referral commission.
The commission is paid by the partner — we do not charge you anything on top of the partner's own price, and the price you see on the partner's site is the same price you would see if you arrived there directly.
Where the disclosure appears
Every comparison hub on CommissionFlow — including pages for project management, CRM and any future category — carries an Affiliate disclosure block directly above the product grid so it is the first thing a visitor reads before comparing products. The disclosure block links back to this page so you can read the full explanation.
Editorial independence
Commission rates never change the rank, the order, the price shown, the included features, or the public review text on a product card. Reviews are written from public documentation plus comparable hands-on testing where available, and are edited independently of the affiliate-program operator. A product is added to a hub because it passes the same independent criteria as any other product on the page — not because the partner pays more.
In rare cases a partner also sponsors a content section (for example a co-branded benchmark report). Sponsored sections are tagged with a “Sponsored” eyebrow above the section header and are never mixed into the ranked product list. If a card or section was promoted in exchange for compensation, that relationship is disclosed in the same card, not buried in a footnote.
How attribution works
Every outbound CTA on a comparison hub routes through /api/track/click.
The handler logs a server-side Commission row containing the partner slug, the product slug, the category, a click ID, and the redirect URL — no personal data is attached. The click row is matched against the partner's payout report when the partner confirms the upgrade. Nothing is sold to a third party. Nothing is shared with an ad network. The data lives in Commission's own database.
Material connections to partners
CommissionFlow occasionally receives non-cash support from partners — extended trials, beta access, or a complimentary annual plan so we can evaluate a new feature without having to refund our own seat license. Receiving non-cash support does not affect how a partner is ranked on the hub and is not a condition of coverage.
EU and UK visitors
EU and UK visitors are protected by the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC) and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 respectively. We disclose paid placements and reference every partner link so you can evaluate each before clicking.
